THE NEW FOREST WOODBURNING CENTRE
Since 1978, we have been providing "Warmth for the Wise" ~ supplying woodburning and multifuel stoves, designing and
building brick fireplaces, and constructing chimneys for customers living in and around the beautiful New Forest.

Many people feel that there is nothing quite like coming home to a real fire. If your house seems
cold and heartless, why not pay us a visit and experience the all-round warmth of a woodstove
for yourself? Today you can not only experience the joy of a real fire in your home,
but without the low efficiencies and mess associated with traditional open fires.

We supply many makes of stove, including state-of-the-art Clearview Stoves, made in the UK
~ in our experience, and in the view of many others, amongst the most efficient stoves
available in the UK, and designed to burn wood superbly cleanly in our British climate.
We also supply stoves by:

We have a
large showroom area displaying ranges of ultra-modern stoves and fireplaces,
including Handol and Contura from Sweden, and the STUV range of inset fires,
claddings, and the amazing 30-series, where the firebox can either be open to
the room, glass-fronted, or solid steel for overnight burning -- all achieved
by simply rotating the firebox within the stove casing whilst the fire is
burning!
No chimney, and don't mind seeing flue system up to ceilings? See typical example here

To see many more examples of installations, visit our showroom: we not only have several albums of photos to look through, but we also have a touch-screen display where you can browse your way through many hundreds of themed photographs.
FLUE LINING: for new-build, we strongly recommend that Isokern pumice liners, or one of their pumice chimney block systems, is specified. For existing flues, wherever possible a flexible stainless steel liner should be installed right to the top of the chimney. If you would like to see examples of why lining (or re-lining) is necessary, click here.
In situations where an existing flue serving an open fire leaks fumes and smoke at unknown places along its length, lining with a metal round liner would stop the leaks, but would also so reduce the size of the flue that it would no longer be able to support the open fire which would then spill some of the smoke back into the room. In those cases we can recommend the ELDFAST system:
