Chilli Penguin: on display

In pride of place is the magnificent flagship oven stove, the 88 (or Eighy-Ate, as they dubbed it), an 8kW beast with an oven you could roast a chicken in. You can fairly consistently regulate the oven temperature with judicious addition of fuel and the burn rate, to achieve a steady 180C or a blazing 300, if you like crispy pizza. An ingenious design quirk allows cooking smells to be drawn into the flue for olfactory evacuation. We frequently use it for lunch.the Chilli Penguin 88 oven stove

If you want a smaller stove with an oven, we have a Hungry Penguin on display with the regular oven. This 5kW stove can be ordered with a double-height oven if you want to do more serious cooking, and is also available in several different configurations, with convection panels built in, or with a log store underneath. Our model is in 'seal grey', giving it a slightly softer edge than the standard black. Other colours are available: blue, cream, green and red.Hungry Penguin stove, in seal grey colour

Our best-selling Penguin is still the base-model Short Penguin, a tidy stove that will fit comfortably in even modest fireplaces, but still throws out a blaze of radiant heat.Short Penguin stove on display

Also extremely popular for its wide panoramic window, 5kW heat output, and shallow profile is the Woody:Chilli Penguin's 'Woody' stove

These are all superb multi-fuel stoves that burn at some of the highest efficiencies to be found on the stove market. Pop in and see us if you would like to see one in action!
